摘    要:评析就年龄因素与二语语言能力之间关系所开展的研究、主要发现和最新进展,结合我国外语教学的实际探讨第二语言习得关键期问题及其对我国外语教学所产生的深刻影响,为我国英语教育教学现状的改善与提高谏言献策。中小学英语教师作为直接影响英语教学质量的最关键因素之一,其队伍建设和整体提高迫在眉睫。

Abstract:The paper intends to analyze and discuss recent researches, findings and the latest progress of the relationship between age effect and second language proficiency based on the reality of English teaching in China, so that Critical Period Hypothesis and its influence on English education can be explored. Furthermore, it can help push forward the improvement of English teaching situation in China. It is concluded that it is urgent to construct and promote the group of English teachers, which is one of the key factors affecting English teaching quality.
