| Abstract: | Based on the culture and unearthed stone and bone agricultural implements as well as the millet and wheat found in the ancient sites of Qinghai Ma Jiayao Kayue and Nuomuhong regions,this article has made an analytical study of the planting of hig- hland barley,tracing out its scource and development through relevant classical works and drawing the conclusion that Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau is one of the earliest place where highland barley has been planted. |
