A STUDY ON THE TRANSFORMATION OF RESEARCH SPIRIT IN USA CHEMISTRY

According to existing studies on chemical traditions in USA, an inner core marking the matural phase of American chemistry is presented as chemical research spirit. This specific American chemical tradition may be taken as continuation and divisification of German tradition in the phase of American chemistry to keep up with and even surpass relatively advanced European chemistry in the early years of 20th century.
