Although British Metaphysical Poetry and Chinese Metaphysical Poetry in the Wei and the Jin Dynasties are similar in their names and turbulent historical backgrounds,they have remarkable differences in four aspects,namely,philosophical basis,engagement in social life,artistic features and developing track.The study of the these aspects can make readers better understand the similarities and the differences of British Metaphysical Poetry and Chinese Metaphysical Poetry at that time.
