A study on procedures of layout design by computers

This paper introduces the work procedures of modern layout design and the role of computers in it. It states the basic tasks for a publication to be finished from the initial design preparation to the final printing by machine,including the choice of paper type,the design of publication format,the techniques of scanning pictures,the design and manufacture of content,the paper inspection before printing and so on.
