| 摘 要： | 背诵是英语学习的一种重要方法，但现阶段英语背诵在大学英语教学中已遭到严重淡化。本文通过调查，分析了背诵被忽略之根源，重新审视和确立背诵在多媒体网络教学环境下对提高大学英语学习效果的地位和作用，同时介绍了英语背诵中应注意的几个问题及提出加强英语背诵的具体措施。

| Abstract: | The function of reciting is very important in English study, but nowadays it is seriously ignored. By analyzing the result of the survey related to this topic, this paper aims to determine the cause of this issue, the role and effects of reciting in English learning in multi-media-aid and internet learning environment. It also recommends some measures to strengthen reciting in English learning. |
