| Abstract: | By using ammonium sulfate,formaldehyde and pyruvaldehyde as starting materials,4 methylimidazole was synthesed.This method has many advantages,such as easy to operate,warm reaction conditions,shortage of reaction time and high purity of the product.4 methylimidazole has been confirmed by the analysis of elements and IR. |
