| Abstract: | When optic axis of crystal is neither in the incident plane nor perpendicular to it, the two general formulae for propagating direction of extraordinary light in the uniaxial crystal are obtained in the case that light is reflected at inner crystal plane and light is refracted when it passes through the Crystal, and this paper points out that all extraordinary rays do not lie in the incident plane except five kinds of reflection and four kinds of refraction. |
