民族高校大学生英语水平总体提升探索

摘    要:针对民族高校大学生英语基础存在差异,部分学生英语基础相对薄弱问题,通过对学生英语学习背景、实际英语水平和英语学习心理的调研,提出要向学生宣传学好英语的重要性,激发英语学习的内动力,并帮助学生树立能学好英语的信心。从建立良好师生关系、营造英语学习氛围、指导英语学习计划、实施英语分层教学、坚持做好教学反馈和坚持做好教学反思等方面进行英语教学机制改革创新。为学生提供合适的英语学习条件,不断提高民族高校大学生的总体英语水平。

Abstract:To address the problem of minzu universitg students’various English leves and especially of the relatively poor English foundation of the atudents who come from remote areas,this paper investigates and analyzes the students’ English proficiency and English learning psychology. This paper proposes advocating to students the significance of mastering English, stimulating students’ internal motivation, and helping students build up their confidence of mastering English. The reforming and innovating English teaching mechanism is implemented through establishing favorable teacher-student relationships, offering more opportunities for students’ exposure to English, guiding students in making their English learning plans, carrying out different-level English teaching, and persisting in doing teaching feedback and teaching reflection, etc. , in order to provide appropriate learning conditions for students and to continually improve the everall English proficienuy of minzu university students.
