On Hardy's Ideas of Composition

Hardy＇s ideas of composition reflected the confused thoughts and psychological difficult position of the writers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.Hardy＇s viewpoints of a series of questions,such as marriage, morality,religion,education and women＇s liberation are discussed in the paper through three aspects of“hand of the God and human＇s initiation”,“industrial civilization and natural love”and“universal love”.It is also explored the conflicts between perception and rationality and the transformations of each other during his writing by analyzing his ideology,sentimental psychology,objective environment,subjective consciousness and the interactions among the factors.
