| 摘 要： | 针对民族地区高校非英语专业学生课外英文阅读量有限从而影响他们英语水平的提高这一情况,本文从英文阅读的益处、选材及方法等三方面论述,并结合自己在教学中就此进行试验的结果,得出以课外英文阅读带动学生其它英语应用能力的提高这一结论。

| Abstract: | Non-English majors in colleges in minority nationality districts do very limited reading of English materials after class, which holds them back from improving their English effectively. With a view to tackle this problem, this paper puts forward some suggestions from three aspects, namely, the benefits of extra-curriculum English material reading, selection of materials and techniques in reading. Based on the results of some corresponding teaching and research experiment, this paper comes to the conclusion that extra-curriculum reading of English materials can actually help improve the students' English in an extensive way. |
