摘    要:本文对锰含量的测定表明:肺癌患者发锰含量显著低于对照者(P<0.01)。在动物诱癌实验中观察到,随着肿瘤的发生和发展,肝、肺中锰含量降低,而肿瘤部位锰含量则升高,提示锰含量低可能是肺癌发病的结果。

Abstract:Manganese is a trace element eseential to human health. The effect of manganese content on lung cancer is investigated and the manganese content in the hair of lung cancer patients has been measured and compared with that of healthy people who are used as controls. Animal modelling experiments have also been performed.Hair samples from 49 1ung cancer patients and 930 healthy people as controls were taken. Both the patients and the healthy people are workers in a tin mine and all are over 50. The manganese contents of the hair samples were measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry.It has been found that the manganese contents in lung cancer patients' hair are obviously lower than those of controls (P<0.01). This is in agreement with the results reported elsewhere. During the cancer induction test on animal, with the development of cancer, the change in the distribution of manganese contents in rat body was observed. The manganese content decreased in liver and lung but increased in the tumor tissue. The lower manganese content in the hair of lung cancer patients may be the result rather than the cause of lung cancer.
