| Abstract: | With serious concern of national interests in survival and development, the new leadership of the Communist Party of China （CPC） headed by Hu Jingtao extends the connotation and denotation of national security. In his idea of national security, President Hu Jingtao probes the nature of national security in China in new situation. His idea of national security is very significant for the maintenance of Chinese sovereignty, security and development. |
