| 摘 要： | 提出了用神经网络提取人脸图象主特征的方法，并对主特征在分类识别中的作用作了详细的分析，理论和实验证明，主特征不仅具有较强的分类能力而且具有很强的独立描述图象的能力。

| Abstract: | This parer discusses the facial feature extraction,According to particularity of face image,we present the principal featuer using neural network which not only keeps the principal information ofthe faee image but also simplifies the caculation.The theory and examination have proved that princi-pal component feature not only play an important role in classification but also have strong ability todescribe the image. |
