Abstract:Generalized Definitions of Power Systems are researched in this paper considering the ideal power supply requirment and reasonable electricity price . Under these definitions, apparent power and apparent energy should be measured in practical power systems while it is not necessary to measure reactive power and reactive energy. Furthermore, the total apparent power should be the scalar sum of the apparent power of every phase.
