Abstract:In this paper, definitions are first given to the (r-l)'s complement, sign magnitude and excess code of a number with radix r. Then their properties and arithmeti(?)s are discussed. Moreover, some formulas are presented for the relationship between a number and its (r-1)'s Complement, sign magnitude and excess code respectively.
