Abstract:Countermeasures approaches are being developed for modern multirole radars against anti-radiation missiles. It is concluded that the survivable radars should have such LPI (low probability of intercept) features as frequency-agility, low and controllable transmitting power, low antenna sidelobe level and bistatic technology. In addition, radar netting, jamming and hard-kill approaches are also considered to reduce the risk of being attacked by anti-radiation missiles.
