The integrated management of coastal zone resources supported by Remote sensing and GIS

With the rapid development and utilization of coastal zone resources, various issues have been growing , coastal zone resources and the environment are facing a formidable challenge. At the time of continuous strengthening the marine legislation, how to realize resources management by the means of remote sensing and GIS is a critical issue. Remote sensing has the advantages of macro, rapid, accurate and intuitive and GIS is an effective tool of analysing and managing spatial data. So,Making full use of the two technology is an effective means of monitoring marine resources, which can enhance the scientific and accuracy of monitoring marine resources. Finally,it will provide the departments of ocean planning and management with a real-time and accurate basis.
