英汉构词法若干差异分析

从汉英两种语言在“字”这一层面上的对比可以看出,汉字在经过数千年的变迁后仍基本保持着形义结合的特征,指出字的构成成分较为容易,而英语则走着与汉语截然相反的道路,在形义结合上单纯词几乎没有任何特征,成为隐性复合词,只能在显性复合词的层面上来体现意义的组合关系。从英汉词汇化比较可以看到,尽管两种语言有大致相同的构词趋势,即词语压缩和短语化,但是其具体表现形式却因各自语言体系特点而呈现出不同的特色:英语是借助于词素的灵活并接和从句的压缩来调整的,而汉语则利用词组的节缩和多音节化得以实现。将英汉两种语言中的构词法进行对比分析,找出差异的原因,对我们认识语言内部结构特点和跨文化交际都有重要的意义。

Analysis on Some Differences in Word-formation between English and Chinese
