| Abstract: | After carefully reading A Hunger Artist,an allegorical novel by Kafka,I wrote this paper with the intention of explaining the relationship between art and life.Hunger and performance are used as symbols.Confronted with the times which are full of material desires,the spirit of dedication to art which is nearly extinct is emphasized. |
