| Abstract: | The radiation pattern of the E-plane sectoral horn antenna with curved aperture is analyzed, and the optimization for the pattern shaping is studied. The method of stationary phase is used to calculate the diffraction integral and an improvement on the simplex method is proposed in order to accelerate the convergence. Some examples are given to verify the method. |
