| Abstract: | Insulin resistance（IR） is under strong genetic control. Identification and characterization of genes involved in determing IR may contribute to a greater understanding of the pathogenesis of IR, and ultimately might lead to the development of better treatment strategies. The current status on gene therapy of IR was reviewed in this article with a focus on insulin receptor- related genes. |
