中美两国城市化率影响因素分析

工业发展是城市化的起因，也是城市化率在较低水平阶段进一步发展的主要动力。当城市化率达到较高水平时，进一步推动城市化率提高的主要动力便转换成服务业，以美国为代表的发达国家已经走完了这一历程，中国目前正处在这一转换的节点。中国城市化率进一步的提高，必须大力发展服务业，主要是发展现代服务业或生产性服务业。

Analysis of the Influencing Factors on Urbanization Rates of China and the United States

Industrial development is the cause of the urbanization, and is also the main engine of further development when the urbanization rate is at a lower level. When the urbanization rate reaches a higher level, the main engine for promoting urbanization rate will be focused on service industry. Developed countries represented by the United State have already finished the progress, while China is on the transformation point nowadays. In order to improve the urbanization rate of China, service industry must be fully developed, especially the modem service industry or the productive service industry.
