矩形槽切削的切削力及切屑横向变形的研究

摘    要:本文指出,矩形槽切削时的切削力可以看成由三部分组成:a、刀具主切削刃作直角自由切削产生的切削力;b、刀具副切削刃产生的切削力;c、切屑横向变形引起的切削力。通过分析表明,矩形槽切削时,切削力较自由切削时大的主要原因是由于切屑的横向变形受到限制而产生附加应力场,造成流屑过程中切屑两侧与工件已切槽侧壁发生严重摩擦所致,而刀具副切削刃产生的切削力几乎是可以忽略的。

Abstract:This paper shows that the cutting force in rectangular groovecutting consists of three component parts:a.one produced by thetool major cutting edge in orthogonal cutting;b.one by the toolminor cutting edges;c.one by the side deformation of chip.Analy-sis shows that the main cause that the cutting force in rectangulargroove cutting is greater than that in orthogonal cutting is that theside deformation of chip is restricted and an additional stress fieldis produced,causing a strong friction between two sides of the chipand the side-walls of the workpiece groove machined when chipflows.While the cutting force produced by the tool minor cuttingedges is nearly negligible.
