| 摘 要： | 本文提出了一种子块非均匀量化的小波变换的图像压缩的编码方法。该方法充分利用了WT的良好的去相关特性，针对小波分解弱化各子带的统计特性的缺点给量化器设计造成困难提出了一个解决方案，并在实践中收效良好。

| Abstract: | This paper presents a coding using WT on image compression with nonlinear quantization.The algorithm makes full use of advantages in irrelevancy. It has worked out a solution for the problem .which makes quantizer design difficult owing to weak statistical regularly of subbands. Practical result is good. |
