| Abstract: | The behavior of solid acids, rare element oxide, zeolite and amberlyst, wasinvestigated when they were used as catalysts in esterification of n-butanol and ice acetateacid. The results indicate that amberlyst (strong acid positive ionexchange resin) is the bestcatalyst used for synthesis of n-butyl acetate. |
