| Abstract: | The distribution,morphological characters,host plants,damage,biology,transmission,quarantine and control methods were described in this paper for the banana fruit quarantine pest,Bactrocera musae（banana fruit fly）.The morphological differences with Bactrocera dorsalis,a sibling species of banana fruit fly,were also compared in this paper to provide the basis for quarantine identification and to construct a pointed quarantine measures. |
