对事物发展动力问题的一点看法

矛盾是事物发展的动力。矛盾着的两个方面又同一又斗争推动着事物的运动和发展。新事物反对旧事物的斗争与旧事物反对新事物的斗争是同一个斗争过程。离开同一性来谈斗争性，就会把同一个斗争过程分割成两个不同的斗争过程，从而认为只有新事物反对旧事物的斗争才能推动事物发展的作用，而旧事物反对新事物的斗争则没有这种作用；另外，旧事物反对新事物的斗争有两种重性；既有加重新事物发展的艰难曲折性的一面，又有从反面刺激新事

Views on the Motive Force of the Development of the Things

The contradiction is motive force of things.The two contradicting aspects, including the identity and struggle,propel things forward. It is the same process which new things oppose old things and old things oppose new things, If we discuss the struggle of things apart from the identity, we should divide the same struggle process into two, and get such a conclusion that the struggle of new things against old things really push the things forward and the struggle of old things against new things has no effect at all.However,the struggle of old things against new things has duality. It not only makes the development of new things more tortuous,but also excites this process in the other side.In brief,the struggle of new things against old things and the struggle of old things against new things have both the effect of promoting the development of the things.
