从裹脚布到高跟鞋:试论父权制下的女性境遇

中国封建社会女性裹脚的历史可谓"悠久",据史料记载前后跨越了近千年,裹脚布也似乎成了一种"中国特色",是西方人的视野中的一个特有的中国印象符号。高跟鞋是个外来物,但时至今日,作为跨文化交流的一个"成果",受到中西女性的偏爱。裹脚布与高跟鞋两者乍看之下,风牛马不相及,但细究之后,两者本质上是相同的。本文试图从父权制思想出发找出两者的共同之处。

From Foot-binding Cloth to High-heeded Shoes: the Plight of Women under Patriarchy

The foot-binding of women in feudal China can be described as an old fashion,dating back to about 1000 years ago.It became a characteristic of a woman in old China and a special image in westerners' eyes.High-heeded shoes,a product of intercultural communication,are favored by women east and west.By comparing these two seemingly unrelated objects,we will come to the conclusion: they are the same in essence;both are the evidence of women's plight under patriarchy.
