中国文化中的“暴力”倾向

对“武”字的“止戈为武”释义，并不能证明中国文化的“和谐”特征。实际上，由于缺乏平等、权利和协商、妥协机制，在整个社会生活中充斥着暴力解决方式。暴力来源于政治失序，即不能平等协商利益分配，构建公平合理社会秩序，而视强力为解决利益冲突的最佳或最后手段。尊重每个人的合法权益，学会平等政治协商，不以暴力相胁迫，并做出相应制度安排，是社会主义政治文明和精神文明建设以及政治改革的紧迫任务。

Violence Tendency in Chinese Culture

Wu （武）is interpreted in the dictionary as ＂stopping fighting＂, but it can not prove Chinese culture＇s harmony. Actually, the society is still filled with violence for the lack of equality, consuhancy and reconciliation. Violence finds it origin in political disorder, which means the society can not achieve equally distributing interests or build up fair and rational social order. On the contrary, it resorts to force as the best solution to interest conflicts. What we are advocating now is that we should value the legal interest of each person, learn to solve various social problems with political consuhancy, which is the urgent mission for the establishment of socialist material and spirit civilizations.
