| 摘 要： | 我国传统英语教学重语法知识,轻文化教育,导致学生过等级考试游刃有余,跨文化交际能力却相当缺乏.本文通过论述语言与文化的关系,指出文化教育在英语教育中的重要性.研究了中西文化差异的5个方面.认为教师在教学中,应该介绍一些有关的英美文化、政治、经济及英语国家人民的生活习惯与风俗等,以加强培养学生对文化背景知识的了解,提高学生的语言文化水平.并进一步探讨了文化教育的几种方法.
