Some improvements on the current eigenvalue numerical method are presented in this paper. The method is used to calculate the respons matrix of aquifer system. The diagonalization of storage matrix and application of QL algorithm in solving eigenproblem increase the speed and suppress its demand for great computer storage. Finally, the improved method is compared with finite element method and analytical method through an example computation, which demonstrates some advantages of the improved method. |
