摘    要:在英语阅读教学中对大学英语专业一年级学生进行为期一个学期的元认知策略培训的研究.结果显示,元认知策略培训有助于提高学生的阅读能力;学生的元认知策略使用水平经过培训后能得到提高.只有当学生使用元认知策略的水平产生足够的量变,才能对阅读能力产生质的影响.

Abstract:The paper reports an empirical study on one-term training of meta-cognition strategies in English reading among English major freshmen.Results of the study revealed that training of meta-cognition strategies is helpful in improving students' level of using meta-cognition strategies as well as their reading competence.Only when the students' level of using meta-cognition strategies becomes high enough can it influence their reading competence.
