基于语料库的KEEP搭配行为对比研究

摘    要:英语动词的使用灵活多样,是英语学习的重点和难点。本文以CLEC和BROWN两个语料库提取的语料为依据,对比中国英语学习者和本族语者keep动词的使用差异。研究结果表明学习者keep的使用与本族语者存在显著差异;V+ADJ和V+N/POUN类联接存在着过度使用。而V+N/PROUN+ADV和V+N/PROUN+PRE存在着使用不足或者误用。笔者进一步探讨了造成差异的原因及其对第二语言习得研究和外语教学的意义。

Abstract:English verbs are known to be very difficult to learn especially for the second language learners. This study analyzes the collocational behavior of the frequently used verb keep in its colligations. The comparison is made between the Chinese Learners' English Corpus and that in the native speakers' corpus. The statistic data shows that there is a significant difference in the use of keep by Chinese learners and native speakers: V + ADJ and V+N/POUN are overused by Chinese learners while there is underuse or misuse of colligatinns V+N/PROUN+ADV and V+N/PROUN~PRE. It is also discussed the reasons behind and its significance in second language research and teaching.
