试论清末民初西康师范教育

自清季赵尔丰奉命治边，实施改土归流开始，西康始出现师范教育。赵氏在西康以“兴学”为“收拾边地人心第一要务”，大力发展师范教育。短短几年问，西康师范教育从无到有，蓬勃发展，遍及西康各地。民国始肇，西康师范陷入沉寂，几乎被摧毁殆尽，虽然历时甚短，但其对西康社会经济发展推动作用仍然不容忽视。一方面新式学堂广泛建立，受教育者增加，边民素质得到提高；另一方面民族间交流进一步加深，维护了边疆稳定。其历史经验、成效仍值得我们借鉴。

Xikang Normal Education during the Late Qing and the Early Republic of China

Since Zhao Erfeng, an official appointed by the central government, went to govern the frontier by implementing the system of bureaucratization of native officers during the late Qing, the normal education has begun in Xikang. Zhao regarded ＂running school＂ as ＂the top priority to win the popular support＂. So he strived to develop the normal education. Within a few years, Xikang normal education developed rapidly and extended all over Xikang. However, during the early years of the Republic of China, it sunk into quietness and was almost wiped out of Xikang. Though it lasted only a few years, we can＇t ignore the significance of the nor- mal education in promoting the economy and the society in Xikang. The historical experience and effect of nor- mal education in Xikang will be remembered for ever.
