| Abstract: | A thermal network analysis of the gear transmission equipment is systematically expounded. With various factors affecting the thermal behaviors of the gearbox taken into consideration as a whole, a practical model for the static temperature rise of oil in the box is developed. A rather accurate simulation and prediction of the static temperature rise of the gearbox is proposed. |
