摘    要:
由于雷达的高分辨距离像对方位变化非常敏感,模板库中对每个目标都必须按较小的方位范围建立所有有关方位的模板。如果能够得知目标的大致方位角,可以缩小搜索范围,减小运算量。具体研究利用目标方位信息对识别率的影响,发现测试样本在类内匹配时,总是与附近方位的模板距离最小,而在类间匹配时,"最佳匹配"的经常是不同方位的模板,因此,利用目标方位信息基本不改变类内距离,但可以增大类间距离,从而提高识别率。仿真结果表明,利用方位信息是雷达目标识别的有效措施。

Abstract:
Due to the aspect sensitivity of high-resolution range profile (HRRP), the template database should include all the templates for each small aspect range. If the target aspect can be approximately estimated, the searching range and computation of classifier can be reduced. The effect of target aspect estimation on recognition rate is studied in detail. Usually, within class the distance between testing data and the template from near aspect is minimum, and between classes the most similar template comes from different aspect. Accordingly, if using target aspect estimation to restrict searching range, the within-class distance hardly changes and the between-class distance increases, thus the recognition rate is improved. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the performance of this method.
