| 摘 要： | 在科学研究的实践中,许多科学家都偏好简单的假设.而在理论选择问题的规范研究中,也有一些哲学家把简单性作为一个认识原则.但长期以来面临的一个困难是:如何阐明并辩护简单性原则.本文首先叙述简单性问题及其困难,然后介绍近年来福斯特和索贝尔提出的一个解决方案.

| Abstract: | Simplicity principle is a well-known problem in philosophy of science. In 1990's, Malcolm R.Forster and Elliott Sober provided a solution to this puzzle based on akaike theorem in model selection theory. According to their result, simplicity is a mark of Truth. This article tries to give a brief introduction to their heuristic idea. |
