论网络辅助外语教学的意义

外语学习是一门综合性课程,它既要掌握语言知识,又要培养语言应用能力和技能;课堂教学只是外语学习中重要的学习和实践场所之一,课堂之外的大量接触和实践才是外语学习成功的保证。网络丰富的语言资源和先进的电子交流工具,为外语教学提供了巨大的语料库资源及广阔的互动交际空间,因而弥补了单一的课堂教学的不足, 提高了教学的质量和效率。通过分析网络辅助外语课堂教学的必要性,探讨了将传统的外语课堂教学与课外网络学生自主式学习整合成为复合型的外语教学模式的意义。

On the Significance of Adopting Internet Resources to Assist Foreign Language Teaching

Foreign language learning is a comprehensive course which requires both the mastery of the language knowledge and the ability of using the language. Classroom is one of the important venues of learning and practicing the language. However, a great amount of practice beyond classroom is essential to a successful learning. The Internet is rich in language resources and advanced in electronic communication, which provides abundant language materials and unlimited interaction space for language practicing, thus, compensates the deficiencies of single classroom teaching and enhances the quality and efficacy of teaching. This paper aims to analyze the necessity of adopting Internet resources to assist foreign language teaching and discuss the significance of combining the traditional classroom teaching with the internet-assisted students' autonomous learning after class.
