蒙古语科技术语规范化初探

随着国际学术交流日益增加,蒙古语中的科技术语逐渐增多,规范和统一蒙古语科技术语的工作势在必行。文章提出了确立蒙古语科技术语的一般原则和方法。还建议在蒙古语科技术语中使用蒙古语构词法的前缀和阴阳合写。引用外来语时应名从主人,约定俗成;音形相似,以形为主;音形相异,以音为主。

Standardization of Scientific Terms in Mongolian

With the growth of international academic communication, a large number of new terms appearing in scientific fields flow into Mongolian language. Hence it is indispensible for us to regulate and unify terms in Mongolian science and technology. This paper aims to state the general principles and methods for coping with Mongolian terms in sciences and technologies. It is held that new terms appearing in Mongolian language in scientific fields should rather originate from its native language than base on those borrowings or loan words through translation. This paper also maintains that newly introduced scientific terms should be conventional, i.e. the sound of a new-appeared scientific term should conform to its form; as a result, the form should be concerned mainly. When the sound and the form in the same scientific term are different, the sound should be the major concern.
