| 摘 要： | 《活地狱》是晚清比较有影响的谴责小说,《一九八六年》是新时期以来先锋文学的代表作。二者虽相隔近一个世纪,但是它们对刑罚和人性恶的共同关注,使得这两部小说有了比较的可能。从中可以梳理出另一类文化的传承,即通过对黑暗的残酷表现,反思和批判所处的时代。

| Abstract: | Living Inferno is one of the influential denouncing novels of the late Qing dynasty while 1986 is the representative work of pioneering literature in the new era.Though the separation is nearly a century in between,there is a shared concern over the punishment and human vices as the common ground for the two to compare.Through the comparison we can trace another access to the cultural heritage,namely,to criticize and examine the time by means of exposure of darkness and cruelty. |
