The relationship between emergence and reduction is a primary issue in the field of philosophy of complex systems science.Beginning from the classic debate between emergence and reduction,surveying the new challenge(posed by Jaegwon Kim as a representative figure) to thoughts of emergence and then responding to the challenge with emergence of Complex Systems Science,the author explains what exists between levels is a complex causal network of co-evolution,not simply linear reduction and interprets that emergence is of transcendence and complement to reduction.
