脂多糖—被动血凝试验早期诊断伤寒的实用价值

考察脂多糖—被动血凝试验（ＬＰＳ－ＰＨＡ）早期诊断伤寒的应用价值。方法：对病程不同的１０２例伤寒患者用ＬＰＳ－ＰＨＡ、肥达反应和细菌培养进行检测，２００例非伤寒发热患者作为对照。结果病程第一周ＬＰＳ－ＰＨＡ８０％阳性（２４／３０），病程第二周达９７７３％（４３／４４），而同期的肥达反应特异性不够，细菌培养阳性率较低。对照组ＬＰＳ－ＰＨＡ均阴性。结论：ＬＰＳ－ＰＨＡ可早期、简便及快速诊断伤寒，有较高的敏感性和特异性

Practical Value of the LPS-PHA for Early Stage Diagnosis of Typhoid

Objective:The purpose was to observe the practical value of the lipopolysaccharide-passive hemagglutination assay(LPS-PHA) for early stage diagnosis of typhoid.Methods:102 patients who were in different stages of the course were tested by LPS-PHA,Widal test and bacteriological culture.200 febrile nontyphoidal patients served as the control group. Results: During the first week of the course the positive rate of LPS-PHA was 80% (24/36),and during he second week it reached 97.73% (43/44). At the same stages the specificity of the Widal test was doubtful and the positive rate of the bacteriological cuture was insufficient.No Positive reaction was found in control group by LPS-PHA Conclusion: LPS-PHA can be used as a simple,quick assay for early stage diagnosis of typhoid with higher sensitivity and specificity.
