基于数学形态学的掌纹图像分析

摘    要:讨论和分析了数学形态学在在线掌纹图像处理中的应用.该方法应用数学形态学进行掌纹定位分割和增强处理.结合在线掌纹图像的特点采用形态学运算提取掌纹轮廓线,规范手掌质心,然后选取以质心为中心的合适大小的方形区域作为特征有效区域.在有效区域内进行形态学Bot-Hat变换检测出掌纹纹线进行增强处理,对增强后的图像进行傅立叶变换在频域空间进行特征提取和匹配.通过实验,论证了上述方法的有效性和可行性.

Abstract:The application of mathematical morphological algorithms in online palmprint image analysis is presented.The mathematical morphological algorithm is used for palmprint segmentation and palm-lines enhancement.Based on the characteristics of online palmprint image,the mathematical morphological algorithm can extract the contour of the palm and normalize palm centroid.Then taking the centroid as a center,a quadrate feature available area is segmented.The morphological Bot-Hat transformation is used to extract palm-lines in different directions within this area,and then the extracted palm-lines are enhanced.The enhanced image is converted from a spatial domain image into a frequency domain image by the Fourier transform and palmprint features in the frequency domain are presented.The extracted features are used to search for the best matching.The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.
