Discussion on the Problems of Water Resource in Taiyuan City and Countermeasure Proposals

The water resource, which is a fundamental natural resource and strategic economic resource, is connected closely with people’s living, economic development and ecological protection, and is related to the whole situation of sustainable development of economic society, and occupies important strategic position in national economy and public security. Through analyzing the quantity and current development and utilization of water resources in Taiyuan City, this paper probes into some countermeasure proposals on rational development, utilization and protection of water resources in Taiyuan City.
