| Abstract: | Chen Xujing advocated the thought of total westernization in the years of 1930s and 1940s.He thought it is the only way for Chinese cultural by means of denying the traditionl cultural completely and transpanting the western cultural wholly. I shall clarify some misread aspects about the trend of total westernization, and give an objective,pertinent appraisal of it. |
