| Abstract: | Purification vancomycin from fermentation broth by ultrafiltration was investigated.The Ultra-Flo membrane system was used without pretreatment of the fermentation broth.The yield of vancomycin was 87% to 94% and the penetrability of filter liquid enhanced 25% compared with the traditional process.Membrane flux was 120 L/（m2·h）.There was no significant difference between new and contaminated membranes after clearing.The rational quantity of water used in filtering was 2.5 times than that of the original feed. |
