论《爱玛》中道德自我建构的女性主义特征

《爱玛》是十八世纪末英国现实主义小说家简·奥斯汀的代表作。与传统道德小说中塑造的具有高度道德责任感的女主角不同,爱玛在道德上的缺陷相当明显,所以整部小说就是爱玛不断进行道德观的自我建构的动态过程。将女性主义批评和伦理学批评结合,分析了爱玛的道德建构的女性主义特征,可以看出爱玛的很多缺陷都具有反传统的意义,不但反抗了男性话语体系为女性设定的道德标准,还提出了女性在婚姻制度、经济独立、社交活动等方面的要求。

Analysis of the Feminist Characteristics in the Moral Self-construction in Emma

Emma is a masterpiece of Jane Austen, the British realistic novelist in the late 18th century. Different from the heroines highly conscious of moral responsibilities in traditional moral fictions, Emma is morally defective, so the novel is a dynamic process of Emma＇ s self- construction in morality. Based on the analysis of the feminist characteristics from Emma＇ s moral construction in both feminist and ethical perspectives, it can be found that Emma＇ s imperfection has an anti - traditional significance, since it not only challenges the female morality set by the masculine discourse system, but also makes demands for women in marital system, financial independence and social involvement.
