科学哲学的两个传统

上个世纪30到60年代,英美分析传统的科学哲学唱"独角戏",大陆传统的科学哲学鲜有人关注。在近年来科学哲学"转向"的话语中,英美学界开始对大陆传统的科学哲学尤其是德国和法国的传统产生了兴趣,有的学者甚至提出"大陆科学哲学"的概念。这种大陆视角的科学哲学的新意在于,它并非仅仅与分析模式的"主流"对抗,而是具有一种全球视野和明显的包容性。它还被赋予了促进两个哲学阵营走向"融合"光明前景。

Two Traditions in Philosophy of Science

Aged from 30 to 60 in the last century,the analytic philosophy of science prevailed in the Anglo-American countries,regardless of its continental counterpart on "another" side of the Atlantic.Of the new discourses of "turning" in philosophy of science,however,the English-speaking countries become interested in the continental traditional philosophy of science,especially in German and French tradition.Some raise the concept of "Continental Philosophy of Science",whose freshness lies that it is not merely against its analytic "mainstream",but has much tolerance and a global horizon,which is today entitled with a bright future in the promotion of the "fusion" between two philosophical companions.
