电场对Cu-Al合金活度及液态淬火组织的影响

摘    要:通过对Cu-5Al合金施加直流、交流和脉冲电场,发现Cu液中溶质Al的活度系数随电场强度的增加,其趋势不同程度地减小。为研究溶质Al活度减小的原因,对合金在熔融状态下进行淬火。淬火后的金相组织观察表明,电场作用下溶质在合金溶液中沿某一个方向聚集,这为揭示活度的本质及活度在电场下变化的原因提供了可靠的证据,同时从另一个角度证明了液态金属中存在短程有序。

Abstract:The activity coefficient of Al in molten Cu was found to decrease with the increasing of electric current applied to the liquid alloy of Cu-5w_B%Al. To further investigate the mechanism, the liquid Cu alloy quenching experiment was conducted. And the results show that the solute in the liquid will congregate along the direction of the current especially for DC current. Therefore, the mechanism of the activity coefficient change of Al in molten Cu-5w_B%Al alloy treated by electrical field can thus be understood. From another point, this provides an evidence for the presence of short-range-order in the liquid metal.
